Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ServiceLink (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and registered service professionals.

2. What ServiceLink Does

ServiceLink is a marketplace platform that allows service professionals to list their businesses and allows customers to discover and contact those professionals. ServiceLink is not a party to any agreement between customers and professionals — we facilitate the connection only.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to register.
• One account per person or business is permitted.
• You must confirm your email address to activate your account.

4. Service Listings

Service professionals agree that all listings must:

• Accurately describe the services offered.
• Include only images that belong to you or that you have rights to use.
• Not contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Comply with all applicable Irish and EU laws.

All new listings are subject to review and approval by the ServiceLink team before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our discretion.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by Irish consumer law.
• Prices are in Euro (€) and inclusive of any applicable taxes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post listings for illegal, harmful, or offensive services.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees.
• Submit fake reviews or manipulate the rating system.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Platform without permission.

7. Reviews

Customers may leave reviews for services they have used. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. ServiceLink reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The ServiceLink name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Content you upload (images, descriptions) remains yours — by uploading it you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

ServiceLink is a marketplace intermediary. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any services listed on the Platform. Any disputes between customers and professionals must be resolved directly between those parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServiceLink's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
